The
ECM Mechanika V Slim brings a measure of truth to “less is more” that
our kitchen counter really appreciates. The ECM Mechanika V Slim has
slimmed down by more than 2 inches thanks to the vertical reorientation
of the boiler, now measuring at under 10” wide. The new stainless steel
boiler has a slightly increased capacity of 2.2L and features thermal
insulation for greater energy efficiency. The redesigned interior also
resulted in an update to the OPV which is now accessible from the top of
the machine and located underneath the reservoir lid.
Grinder and Accessories Not included
As a heat-exchanger machine, you’ll
need to pay attention to temperature and perform a cooling flush every
once in a while if the machine has been on for some time. However, the
dual pressure gauges, custom ECM E61 group, and adjustable OPV make for a
respectable prosumer espresso machine that can fit in the tightest of
spaces.
Heat Exchanger
The Mechanika V Slim is equipped with a 1400 W
stainless steel boiler with a capacity of 2.2 L. As a heat exchange
machine, you can expect to brew and steam without waiting, or even at
the same time.
Compact Design
The Mechanika V Slim, at 9.8 inches wide and
15.5 inches tall, doesn’t ask for much space at all, fitting comfortably
beneath standard kitchen cabinetry and leaving plenty of room on the
counter.
E61 Brew Group
The E61 grouphead is constantly heated with
water from the thermosyphon system for temperature stability. It also
features a pre-infusion cylinder to aid in the extraction process.
Handmade & High-End Construction
The machine is housed
in mirror-finished, stainless steel panels. It rests on a one-piece
internal steel frame, which protects it from bending or bowing during
shipping or as the result of continuous use.
